American White Pelicans

The white pelicans are usually seen in large groups on larger lakes.They don't dive in water to catch fish as does the Brown Pelicans. They feed by simultaneously dipping their bills in the water to scoop up the fish. The bright orange bills and legs indicate they are breeding adults.
